Guðrún Magnúsdóttir, a nurse and public health expert, says her mother got the idea when she gave her a can of Feel Iceland collagen. "I actually put it straight up in the kitchen cupboard and forgot about it for a long time. A few weeks later, I was doing some shopping, came across the can and decided to try taking the collagen before I threw it in the bin or gave it to the next person. I called my mother, who rarely complicates things, and asked her how she took it and was told that she mixed it in water and slurped it down like a bullet. I did the same for the first few days and immediately felt a difference in my digestion and joints."
