Collagen works wonders

Hannesína Scheving, an emergency nurse and high school teacher in Akureyri, has noticed a big difference in her hair, nails, and joints after she started taking Feel Iceland collagen. She says she's happy to be able to take natural supplements instead of arthritis medication.

H annesína Scheving, an emergency nurse and secondary school teacher at the Akureyri Vocational School (VMA), bears the rare name of her grandmother. She has worked as an emergency nurse in the emergency department of Akureyri Hospital for years, but this fall decided to change tack and transfer to the psychiatric ward.

"I wanted to change things up a bit. I know that communication is my strong point and decided to go to the psychiatric ward, which I know will be a good school. I am happy in the psychiatric ward, although I also love working in the emergency department. The hospital is a lively place and always very busy, but I want to have enough to do. You just have to be organized and take good care of yourself," says Hannesína.

She has always been an avid exerciser. "Today I walk seven kilometers every single day and do yoga at the same time. I go for a walk with music in my ears and always come back happy. We only have this one body and as we age, we become more aware of taking good care of it so that it lasts a long time. We all know what it takes to achieve better health; it is exercise, enough sleep and a healthy diet. People just need to believe in themselves and the changes they can make to improve their health. We can do anything if we just want to."

Has a superstitious belief in collagen

Hannesína has been taking collagen from Feel Iceland for almost a year now. "I have always been against dietary supplements and get my supplements through healthy and good food. When I saw how good Telma Ásdísardóttir looked after losing a lot of weight, I decided to contact her to find out what she did to maintain her skin so well, because the skin of those who lose weight quickly often gets damaged. Telma said it was Feel Iceland collagen and I decided to give it a try. I quickly saw a big difference in my hair, which thickened significantly, and my nails, which grew like weeds. "My hairdresser said, 'Wow, your hair is so good!' and I really can't wait to get a haircut from her," says Hannesína. She has a huge faith in Feel Iceland's collagen.

"I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia twice, but I manage to control it if I exercise and take Feel Iceland collagen."

"I didn't have it for two weeks and then I noticed that my joints were worse than usual. So the collagen works well and I definitely recommend it for better joint health, stronger hair and nails, and younger skin," says Hannesína, who stirs the collagen into cold water in the morning or Greek yogurt with homemade muesli, apples, and cinnamon.

"This is my morning drink and I take two spoons a day. The collagen works wonders for me and I'm happy to be able to take natural supplements instead of strong arthritis medications."
